Online Addiction and Family Support Counselling platform Worldwide.

We change the way people get Help with facing life’s challenges by providing convenient, discreet and affordable access to a qualified therapist. Alpha Online makes professional counselling available anytime, anywhere, through a computer, tablet or smartphone.

Online Therapy is the digital-age version of counseling services. It is a more affordable, convenient and discrete method of receiving therapy.

Online Addiction counselling is relatively New and Exciting .

Today, more than ever, we live our lives online. From our banking, to paying the bills, to working from home and using social media, most of us will log online not once but several times a day. For some of you who are reading this right now, the entirety of your life happens online. And this is why it’s important, not just in business and education services but also health services, to keep up with research and consumer needs. Addiction treatment is no different.

The history of the addiction treatment has been residential treatment. This is the model everyone knows — an inpatient treatment facility that is usually expensive and requires 21-60 days (sometimes longer) of on-location commitment. The word rehab itself has essentially come to mean “a place you go away to for help with addiction.”

The outpatient treatment model, in which clients show up to receive treatment in an office setting and return home to sleep, has become substantially more prevalent than residential treatment, but is still relatively obscure publicly.

We need a more effective, cost-efficient and convenient treatment option for addiction help. And online addiction treatment may be just what you’re looking for.

Is Alpha Online right for me?

Alpha Online may be right for you if you’re looking to improve the quality of your life.
Whenever there is anything addiction related that interferes with your happiness or prevents you from achieving your goals, we may be able to help.

Alpha Online is NOT the right solution for you if any of the following is true:

  • You have thoughts of hurting yourself or others
  • You are a minor or you are under the care of a legal guardian
  • You are in an urgent crisis or an emergency situation
  • You have been diagnosed with a severe mental illness, or if you have been advised to be in psychological supervision or psychiatric care
  • You were required to undergo therapy or counselling either by a court order or by any other authority
  • You do not have a device that can connect to the Internet or you do not have a reliable Internet connection

Can Alpha Online substitute traditional face-to-face therapy?

The professionals who work through Alpha Online are certified to provide therapy and counselling.

Addiction Therapy is a Process, often a long process. There are no quick fixes and outcomes vary from individual to individual. Also preference for treatment varies from individual to individual.

However, while the service may have similar benefits, it’s not capable of substituting for traditional face-to-face therapy in every case. Please note that your provider won’t be able to make any official diagnosis, to fulfil any court order or prescribe medication.

How will I communicate with my counsellor?

You can get counselling in three ways:

  • Exchanging messages with your counsellor (whatsapp and sms)
  • Chatting live with your counsellor / video conferencing (skype or zoom)
  • Speaking over the phone with your counsellor

You can use different ways at different times as you wish, based on your needs, availability, and convenience, however you will need to schedule a time with your Counsellor.

How is my privacy protected?

We are totally obsessed about securing your privacy and confidentiality.

You don’t need to identify yourself (see more about staying anonymous here).

Everything you tell your counsellor is strictly confidential.

We don’t cooperate or work with any insurance companies or employers, so nothing needs to be shared, reported or filed with them.

If you wish for any of your information or records to be released to a third party, please let your counsellor know.

Your counsellor will send you an authorization form that you will need to fill and sign before your information can be released.

Can I stay anonymous?

When you sign up we do not ask you for your full name or contact information. You may pick any “nick name” which will identify you in the system.

When you decide to start the counselling process, we will ask you for emergency contact information which is kept safe in the system so it can be used if your counsellor believes that you or someone else might be in danger.
